They built a study app at 15. The future’s already here.

A few months ago, I brought on two new interns — Astrid and Jessica. They’re 15 and 16 years old, still in high school.

Alongside their work at Pentridge — supporting with social media and internal projects — I gave them a challenge: build and launch their own web app using AI.

It was part of a larger agenda I’ve been pushing — to show what’s now possible with the tools we have today.

Last week, they launched Clear Study — a web app designed to help students stay organized. It records and transcribes lessons, lets you save and categorize notes, and even has a built-in calendar.

The whole thing — from idea to production — was built with AI.

Watching them bring it to life reminded me exactly why I wrote the digital playbook We Are All Now Programmers.
